Some links can earn Thornhale a commission. Here is exactly what that means for you and for our reviews.
The plain-language version
SharpAndLean is operated by Thornhale. Some links to retailers or product websites are affiliate links. If you follow one and complete a qualifying purchase, Thornhale may receive a commission from the seller or affiliate network. You do not pay a separate fee to SharpAndLean for using the link, although the seller controls its own prices, taxes and delivery charges.
A commission is compensation, so we disclose it where it matters: near commercial links and on pages that may contain them. A link is not a prescription or a guarantee that a product is appropriate for you.
Networks and merchants
The site may use Amazon’s affiliate programme, ClickBank, Awin and Gurumedia. Each network tracks qualifying visits and purchases under its own rules, usually with cookies or comparable attribution technology. A product may be available through one network, several retailers or no affiliate relationship at all. Participation can change, and a merchant may change its price or terms after a review is published.
Amazon and the other named networks are independent third parties. They do not own SharpAndLean’s editorial content. Their trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Reviews and rankings
Affiliate status does not buy a review, a place in a shortlist, a higher score or advance approval of our language. Editorial work begins with the label and evidence. Commercial availability is considered only after the assessment is made. When two purchase options are otherwise comparable, usability, geography or price may affect which link is displayed; it does not rewrite the verdict.
We do not accept payment for a positive assessment. If sponsored material is ever published, it will be labelled as advertising or sponsored content and kept out of independent rankings.
How links are marked
Commercial buttons and purchase areas carry an affiliate notice. Review pages also link back to this disclosure. Ordinary editorial citations, government resources and research references are not affiliate links unless they are explicitly labelled.
If you believe a link is unclear, please report it through the contact page. Transparency should be visible at the point of decision, not hidden in a footer.
